About Me
An aspiring cat lady with a penchant for writing. Terrible selfie-taker.
Once upon a time, I flipped through Vogue magazine and decided that my future lies in fashion. Soon after graduating with a B.A (Hons), I enrolled in a Fashion Marketing course at Raffles Design Institute, Singapore. The exposure (and the food) was great, but I quickly realised that my 'passion for fashion' was just a fad. However, what really grew was my passion for writing. After completing my course, I decided to go to Canada to explore this further. I enrolled in a Marketing Management post-graduation course, followed by a short-term writing course.
My first foray into copywriting was as an intern at a niche digital marketing agency in Toronto, where I also worked as a freelance content writer for a bit (check out some of my published work here). Working in Canada's scorching summers and torturous winters had me convinced that this is indeed where I see myself. Advertising, that is. Not Canada.
Once I was back in the bay, I fully immersed myself into the big bad world of advertising. I worked at MullenLowe Lintas, WYP Worldwide and BookMyShow as a copywriter, and got to be a part of some pretty cool projects. In India's very own Silicon Valley, Bengaluru, I've worked at digital agency Unigage, followed by my first steps into the world of EV with River Mobility.
I enjoy penning down my thoughts into my diary in my spare time (lies!). I am an avid animal lover. In fact, my ultimate dream is to own a Cluedo-style mansion with a dozen cats and dogs scuttling around.
PS: If you ever run out of mint, I'll be there for you. Only during office hours, of course.
Reading, traveling, movies, swimming, chocolates, Marmite, and guacamole are my other favourites.
